Six-story, 750,000 sq ft purpose-built NAP of the Americas at 50 NE 9th Street, built by Terremark in 2001, acquired by Verizon in 2011, and purchased by Equinix with 28 other Verizon data centers in 2017. It is Equinix's flagship Miami facility and the key gateway for US-Latin America traffic, engineered to withstand Category 5 hurricanes with a dedicated federal-government floor.
